The Cancer Patients Aid Association is back with another edition of Colours of Life

Oct 03, 2017

Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) brings to you the 13th edition of its annual art exhibition and sale of paintings, Colours of Life. Proceeds from this show go towards a fund for treatment of underprivileged children suffering from cancer. This is year's edition will see works of over 70 seniors, contemporary and emerging artists from all over India. The collection boasts of different genres of work, styles, sizes and price range. It’s attractive for art collectors as it includes works by eminent Indian masters too. CPAA, one of the largest cancer NGO's of India, was established in 1969 with the mission of Total Management of Cancer. While their primary concern is to meet the needs of underprivileged cancer patients who otherwise would not be able to benefit from the best treatments that medical science has to offer, they are now trying to reach out to patients from all walks of life in every possible way. Over the last forty-eight years, the organisation has expanded its vision and looked to address the causes of the exponential increase in cancer cases in India, primarily due to lack of knowledge and awareness of cancer.
